District 1 produces victors that shine – they glimmer and twinkle under the lights of a bloodthirsty nation and they are the jewels in a murderous crown.

District 2 produces victors who are monsters – they revel in knives and spears and blood; they choose to be monsters because that is what they think is moral.

District 4 produces victors that are pretty – they are beautiful in the way the tributes from 4 usually are and the decadent citizens of the Capitol devour them whole; they are paid for, they are obtained.

“So which ones your house?” Marvel asks with a slight smirk playing on his boyish features.

Glimmer laughed quietly, her arms looped around her boyfriend. “Second one on the left. You know you don’t have to carry me, right Marv?” Glimmer acquires.

Marvel shook his head slightly and kissed Glimmer’s forehead. “Of course I know that, Glim, but I’m just using my manners.” He teases.

Glimmer smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, her lips curved into a smile. She would never admit it, but she would have a hard time leaving him in a moment. “That was a good date.” Glimmer said simply.

Marvel nodded and pecked her lips and smirked. “Indeed it was. Got any plans tomorrow?”
